World Pyro (3rd night)

This time we're not soaked to death though it rained. ^_^ We chose not to have restaurant reservation and just paid the 150 ticket for the entrance.

The first blast of fireworks was from team Venezuela. There show was slow at the start but gave a fabulous finale.

On the other hand team Italy’s start was extremely magnificent (happy new year agad, to the highest level tlga!!! hehe) And of course they ended it with a perfect bang!!! It’s like bringing the entire universe on earth.. woohoo!!! Mapapa WoW ka tlaga!

The night was perfect and definitely everyone had a great night with all the applause and admiration they gave to the show. And now, I’m so excited and looking forward for the next week show. That will be the last night of Pyro Olympics, the collaboration of all participating countries and the much awaited Pyro Musical by our very own team Philippines! ^_^

People live and people die, and someday someone will have to say goodbye

*sigh* i got two sad news today: (i mean yesterday, panibagong araw na pala ngaun.hehe)

First, I got a text message from a college friend that her older sister died this morning, a cardiac arrest cause her death.

Second, another officemate/friend will leave us again. He texted us telling that his last day at office will be on Tuesday. Told us that he can’t say it in front of us a while ago because he might probably cry so he just texted it. I was at MRT that time and I was standing inside the train when I read his message. I can’t help it; my eyes became teary while I’m replying to his text. Too many flashbacks came to my mind, other friends who also left. (wah anu nlang kaya inisip ng mga nkaupo na kaharap ko?!! Nag-eemote ako dun.hehe) Wah!! It was really sad that someone close to you will have to say goodbye. Wishing him goodluck to the next company he'll be working with and all the best to whatever he may do. Thanks gurl!hehe (nakiki-gurl din kc sya smen)

Anyway, congrats David Cook!! Bwahaha biglang ganun ^_^ you’re the man!!!

Do You Have A Difficult Person In Your Life?

I received an email from a friend about dealing with difficult people in our lives. It just made me thought that sometimes we dont wake up happy its because of this creature/s that annoy/s us. Ung tipong maiisip mo 'ito na naman makikta ko na naman ang bwisit na yun!' hehe. And sometimes you want to pray 'nawa'y tamaan nlng sya ng kidlat o ung tipong kainin na lang sya ng lupa'. ^_^

Sometimes it makes you wonder that is this unlovable person was really created just to make your life miserable? That his ultimate mission is to bring hell in your life?!! bwahaha Anyway, through that email I've received, Bo Sanchez gives four BIG gifts you can receive from difficult people. And here they are! ^_^

Gift #1:
Difficult people can teach you how to love, preparing you for Heaven!

§ You learn to become more patient, more understanding, more persevering.
§ You have pity for them because you realize that “Hurt people hurt people”
§ You learn to see the good qualities even among difficult people.
§ You learn how to be compassionate as God is compassionate.
§ You learn how to forgive, to remove bitterness from your heart.

Gift #2:
Difficult people can teach you to protect yourself and learn to say “No” to

abuse.

§ You learn to love yourself, respect yourself, by no longer allowing abuse.
§ You learn to be courageous and stand up against bullies.
§ You learn to give tough love—refusing his abuse again. It may be the most loving thing you can do for a difficult person.
§ You wizen up, learn tact, and learn how to distance yourself from harmful people.

Gift #3:
Difficult people can help you get to know your weaknesses.

§ Difficult people remind you that you too could be difficult to others.
§ Difficult people teach you many important lessons in life. By seeing the tragic results of their actions, you’re inspired to do the very opposite of what they do.

Gift #4:
Difficult people can bring you closer to God.

§ Difficult people force you to pray a lot. (“Lord, help! I can’t take it anymore!”)
§ Difficult people force you to trust in God. (“Lord, I give up! I’ve done everything but she’s still a monster…”)
§ Praying for difficult people may not change them, but YOU will.
§ “Your cross (difficult person) is your key to heaven…” St. Poveda
§ You realize that YOU are God’s difficult person—yet you’re still loved by God!

God Bless everyone! Always be a blessing to others, if you can't love them just dont hurt them...^_^

it's mudra's day!!!

To my dearest mama and to all the mothers in the world...

World Pyro at MOA

it's raining(as in parang bagyo) but still the show must go on..bwahaha

My officemates and I just watched the World Pyro Olympics at SM Mall of Asia. We already made a reservation at Padi's Point last Friday to avoid what we had experienced last year. (the bumping, pushing with many people and due to heavy traffic I only managed to get a spot along with other people stuck on the road) Our plan was to play bowling first but all bowling lanes are taken and there were still vast queue of people waiting for there turn. So we just watched a movie, What happens in Vegas starring Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher. It was a feel good movie, should I say a romantic comedy. We had fun watching it, even laughing to death (comedy nga kc db?hehe)

After the movie, we’re ready to go to Padi’s to avail our reservation but we just found out that it was raining hard (o db eksena pa tlga ang ulan, gsto din maki-join sa pyro.hehe) I will not go into details but when the first pyro show began, we’re not yet settled at Padi’s, so we just watched the show under an umbrella, soaked but still enjoying the marvelous lightning in the sky (idagdag pa ang kulog at kidlat.hehe)

And when the 2nd pyro show blasted again in the sky, we’re finally occupying our reserved table in front of seaside. Woohoo it was beautiful!!! I can say better than the 1st one.
Our night may be okay but still hoping for what I can say ‘perfect night’, may be next time?!hehe The food is not that good but we need to consume it since we’re gonna paying 500 each for it.(ayos parang fiesta lng sa dami.hehe)

(photo taken by Anton Diaz from 1st Pyro Olympics, Pink Gerberas)

Nonetheless, congrats to the two countries (Canada and France) for the magnificent fireworks! ^_^
