There are plenty of reasons to love Rowling's wildly popular series--no doubt you have several dozen of your own. Some are list of features favorite moments, characters, and artifacts from the seven books. Keep in mind that this list is by no means exhaustive (what we love about Harry could fill ten books!) and does not include any of the spectacular revelatory moments that would spoil the books for those (few) who have not read them. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

~ Harry's first trip to the zoo with the Dursleys, when a boa constrictor winks at him. ~ When the Dursleys' house is suddenly besieged by letters for Harry from Hogwarts. Readers learn how much the Dursleys have been keeping from Harry. Rowling does a wonderful job in displaying the lengths to which Uncle Vernon will go to deny that magic exists. ~ Harry's first visit to Diagon Alley with Hagrid. Full of curiosities and rich with magic and marvel, Harry's first trip includes a trip to Gringotts and Ollivanders, where Harry gets his wand (holly and phoenix feather) and discovers yet another connection to He-Who-Must-No-Be-Named. This moment is the reader's first full introduction to Rowling's world of witchcraft and wizards.~ Harry's experience with the Sorting Hat.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

~ The de-gnoming of the Weasleys' garden. Harry discovers that even wizards have chores--gnomes must be grabbed (ignoring angry protests "Gerroff me! Gerroff me!"), swung about (to make them too dizzy to come back), and tossed out of the garden--this delightful scene highlights Rowling's clever and witty genius. ~ Harry's first experience with a Howler, sent to Ron by his mother. ~ The Dueling Club battle between Harry and Malfoy. Gilderoy Lockhart starts the Dueling Club to help students practice spells on each other, but he is not prepared for the intensity of the animosity between Harry and Draco. Since they are still young, their minibattle is innocent enough, including tickling and dancing charms.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

~ Ron's attempt to use a telephone to call Harry at the Dursleys'. ~ Harry's first encounter with a Dementor on the train (and just about any other encounter with Dementors). Harry's brush with the Dementors is terrifying and prepares Potter fans for a darker, scarier book. ~ Harry, Ron, and Hermione's behavior in Professor Trelawney's Divination class. Some of the best moments in Rowling's books occur when she reminds us that the wizards-in-training at Hogwarts are, after all, just children. Clearly, even at a school of witchcraft and wizardry, classes can be boring and seem pointless to children. ~ The Boggart lesson in Professor Lupin's classroom. ~ Harry, Ron, and Hermione's knock-down confrontation with Snape.


Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

~ Hermione's disgust at the reception for the veela (Bulgarian National Team Mascots) at the Quidditch World Cup. Rowling's fourth book addresses issues about growing up--the dynamic between the boys and girls at Hogwarts starts to change. last july 20, we orgarnized (ay deposit's team pla, sabit lng din pla ko) a despedida for Joseph. sa io ktv nman tlga dapt ung original plan, kya lng sa anumang kdahilanan ay nglaho na pla sa jupiter street itong io ktv, so we had just move to the nxt convenient ktv at un nga ay etong top grill.

as a whole super enjoy nman ang lahat (parang wlang mg-gugoodbye)... though nde nman tlga ko gnun kaclose kay joseph so sad pa rin kc to think panu nlng kung one of my closest frens ung aalis na?!! wah kalungkot!!! i hate goodbyes tlga ever!!! ayoko ng iniiwan, uunahan ko n cla.haha. newei sa gabeng un ndiscover ko na songer nman pala toh si mam grace at tong si mam cathy ay entertainer in the making tlga!! haha.. kme nman nila aics at camil ay taga-sigaw lang, in other words mga fans ng mga kumakanta.hehe at kme'y mga official photograher din. :)

npakasaya tlga pero cempre kelangan ng mg-uwian at mukang umga n ko makakauwi nitoh sa bahay. at kinuha n ni mam liza ang bill, npakamura lng nman tumatataginting na 11k ! mpapasigaw ka nlng ng HuWAAaaattTTT?!!!!!! panu nangyari un?!! kya d n kme babalik jan sa top grill! d nman kgandhan ang room at ang init pa!! haha manira dw b tlga. :)


Deathly Hallows is now mine

(july 21) finally we got the copy of j.k rowling's last book series of harry potter. camil and i woke up early (kht na puyat pa sa despedidang naganap) to pick up our reserved books at powerbooks. actually di nga ganun kaaga kc from original na 7am na usapan ay namove sa 8:30 pero ako nkadating dun mga 10am ata.hehe

so gnun ganun nlng ba uwian na after mtapos mkuha ung book wah malayo din ang binyahe ko ha.hehe so nghanap kme ng spot sa powerbook para mgbasa muna kht isang chapter.haha sabik na mgbasa. dami din nmen ksabay kumuha/bumili ng books.. ang saya literally madami tlgang hp n books n nkadispaly n sa powerbooks at may ginwa pa clng area dun n setting ay hogwarts. may freebies din nga pla kmeng nkuha at may free na picture taking with the hogwarts props. :)

can't wait to read the book from cover to cover kaya after we ate lunch ni camil we went home n rin agad..
si camil by monday tapos n nya basahin ung book ako knina ko lng natpos bsahin. i can say ayos ang ending gnda ng twist ng story, mraming realizations. astig!!!! can't wait sa movie version nitoh, 2 more years to go. :)

P.S. we also tried to make pakiusap sa mga tao na nsa pila ng counter na gamitin ung power card ni camil para ma-earn nya ung points na kelangn nya pra mging gold card na.. nka-2 nman kme na napakiusapan, eh hiya na kme kaya ng-giv up n kame.hehe.. may hiya pa rin pla kme na naitatago sa srili nmen. :)

is this for real?!????!!!!!

wah! confirmed, mitch is leaving us... he finally told us that he was resigning and he already gave his resignation letter to our boss(es) yesterday and that makes us only 4 in our team (sir don, nelo, jon and me). and this also mean bulk of work load. newei mitch will be teaching us and will be providing us all we need to know about the stuffs assigned to him, hopefully we can absorb everything na alam nya.hehe. Syet!! starting august 13, wla na kong sasabihan ng 'mitch, question....' at wla n nman akong katabi sa left side ng cubicle.. tama nga ata sabi ni sir jacob laht ng nkakatabi ko ngreresign. una si ms. rachel, tpos si ms.liza tpos ngaun si mitch..wah!!! nasa akin ang sumpa, kaya puputulin ko na bago pa may mabiktima, mkapagresign n nga rin.hehe joke!

Mitch will be working at citibank, singapore.. just wishing him good luck and good luck din sa team namen!!! kaya nmen toh!! Aja! Aja! Fighting! :)

harry potter galore!

whew! i've watched Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix twice!!! Adik! hehe. The first one was yesterday(saturday) with my officemates at eastwood and the second one just a while ago at sm, the block with my college friends.

Saturday happenings

thanks to bheloy that he had bought movie tickets earlier, kc sobra hayok mga tao na mkanood ng HP kaya mhirap na maubusan ng seats..hehe dahil 5:35 pa nman ung movie so us, girls, camil, aics and nika ay nagmeet muna sa morayta (ang aking lupang pangako dati.hehe dami na ngbago, grabe ang bilis ng panahon).

it was planned na sa Pollete's mgkikita kc dun sana mgpapastraight si camil (a-dream-come-true-to-be-againÜ) pero sad to say nde pa dw pde irelax ung hair sa december pa dapat kc kakarebond lng ng hair a few months ago..blah ..blah..blah. so we move to another salon for 2nd opinion.haha ayos parang saket na kelangan ng doctor's other diagnosis.hehe

ayon d nga tlga pde pa ung hair ng devil bitch ko (hehe si camil yn) unless rebond din ung gagawin sa hair nya, but isang malaking BUT!!! 5hrs ang kelangn for that sabi ni mother (ung bading.hehe) d pde kc malelate kme sa movie eh 3pm n nun so we have 2hrs and 35minutes para mkahabol sa movie. kya ngpatreatment nlng kme ng hair. ako ngpahaircut,pero parang wla lng nangyari,hehe. semi di'lino ung pangalan nun treatment chuva na nilagay sa hair nmen, it makes ur hair soft and easy to manage. ayos! parang commercial.hehe 4:45pm na ata kame nakaalis dun sa salon..

so we need to rush as in speedy gonzales ang drama,Üpara makaabot sa movie, wah traffic sobra!! so bumaba nlng kme ng bus and took a cab.. si manong driver komedyante 2days pa dw bago kme mkarating sa aming patutunguhan, tpos mali pa pala rinig nya kala nya sa oakwood ang aming punta..hehe buti nlng naliwanagan din xa agad at sa eastwood nya kme dinala.hehe.. super moral support nga kme kay manong na go go go!!! hehe kamusta naman kc manonood lng ng movie papaayos pa ng hair, sbi nga ni bheloy 'oi mga babaeng dadalo ng ksal, nsan na kau?!' hehe nakaabot nman kme sa movie cgro mga 15minutes late lng.. d nmen napanood ung first part.. at buti nlng ngpabili n kme ng food kina sir eric at bheloy dahil mamamatay n kame sa gutom!!! yum yum ng fries at pati n rin ung hotdog sandwich kht matigas ung bun..hehe

after watching HP, ayon palaboy lang, tambay..hehe kumain nlng kme sa Fazolis.. the best pa rin talga ang chicken nila ever..kakamiss tlga ang eastwood days, more than 6months din ng buhay ko ang naibgay ko jan.haha hi Trend micro pipz, kakamiss ang pantry lalo na ang wlang kamatayang drinks, kumpleto!!

newei after ng lafangan nagdisaappearing act nrin kme, knya kanyang uwi na rin, so ako pa-cubao kaya solo flyt lng ako, ayos na ang overpass na dati ginagwa pa lang, ayos la na trafk chorva.hehe

Sunday Lamyerda

kamusta nman at lima lng kme this tym, minsan na nga lng magkita konti pa.. ako, lein, jaja, leah and her andres.Ü sad konti lng kme, newei enjoy pa rin nman.. sayang kung kumpleto sana kme ngtreat sana ang mga bday celebrants eh kmusta nman un eh puro bday celebrants kasama ko wlang bisita.hehe ako d pa rin ngttreat sa knila..haha nxt year nlng ha pulubi ako eh, gumagapang na ko sa lusak.hehe


ayan this tym nasimulan ko na ung movie, ung part ng pag-attack ng dementors kina harry at dudley pala ung namissed namen yesterday. ayn dito na ko magcocomment about the movie. as a whole ayos nman un movie wag mu lng icocompare sa book dahil d tlaga sakto cla.Ü kwawa nga lng si cho chang dahil nasira image nya sa movie dahil di nman xa tlga ung dahilan ng pgkahuli ng D.A. class nila harry.. ung fren nya un dapt.. kmusta nman cnabi ng wag ikukumpara sa book!Ü mbilis nga lng shifting ng bawat eksena, pero ayos lng nandun pa rin ung thought.. bsta ang msasabi ko ganda ni ginny and hermione at si harry hunk na!hehe si luna din ganda at cool pa,hehe wag nga lng with blood sa labi, dahil muka xang character sa horror movie..

ayn isang taon n namn ang hihintayin para sa nxt movie.. and 5 days to go para sa book 7! para nmang bibili ako, malamang dami susugod sa powerbooks para sa release ng book na yn.. lalo n ung mga di nagpareserved.. ako tska na bibili, isang set ung bibilhin ko sa december na cgro pra book 1-7 na hardbound (o kung may kung cnu man ang may magandang puso na xmas gift nalng sken yan.hehe), puro softbound palang kc ung nsa akin. di ko pa rin alam baka mapasugod din ako sa powerbooks sa kasabikan mabasa na yang book7!hehe oist leah paxerox ko nlng ung book mu.hehehe jologs!

etoh ang personal car ko ang cute db?! ok din ang color white pero i want it green, un tipong sarap tgnan, refreshing!hehe. eversince the world began (hehe nagamit ko rin aics and camil) gsto ko na tlga ang beetle car!!! npaka-playful kc ng dating ng car n yan, parang ako, player... what?!!! haha parang iba ata un dating nun ha..hehe i mean playful as in masaya lng parang wlang problema sa mundong ibabaw :) kelangan ko ng matuto mgdrive ng matest drive na yan!!!!! haha as if may idadrive na ako, ayn feelingera lng po, nangangarap lng pero promise bibilhin ko yan!!

grabe tlga ang nakaraang sabado, nkakapagod, na exciting, na masaya, na nakakatakot na nakakabagabag..hehe. .

newei ganito kc un nung friday palang we decided na punta kme sa wake ng husband ni ma'am jean (condolence po ulet ma'am jean), so saturday morning kme ay dapt mgkikita nila bheloy at sir eric sa mr.donut sa greenhills pra dun pick-upin ni sir arnold ng knyang fortuner.hehe pero late c sir eric kya nkasalubong nlng nya sa daan sir arnold (haha kala pa nman ni sir eric sabay cla dumating ni sir arnold eh inabangan pala tlga xa dun ni sir arnold :)) at kaya un pinick-up na nila kme sa mr.donut and then nxt nmen dinaanan c ms.kuting, and then c aicah at angelits and last c camilalu.Ü cempre after nun punta n kme sa Our Lady of Fatima chapel sa Las Piñas dun kc ung burol.

after our visit dun sa wake, etoh na tlga ung exciting part pupunta n kme ng MOA pra mg-ice skate..haha ang isang pangarap ko na n nman ay maisasakatuparan na..yahoo!!! nihatid din kme dun ni sir arnold ng kanyang fortuner (ulit-ulitin tlga ang sasakyan,hehe)
pero bago kme mg-ice skate nitreat muna kme ni sir arnold sa pizza hut...yum yum!! cheesy puffs!! thanks sir arnold sa libre, kahit sbit lng ako sa mga alaga mu..hehe buti nlng tlga sumama ako. :) after ng kainan!!! yahoo ice skating n toh!

syet nun nsa ice skating rink n kme dun palng sa labas, sobra n kaba ko..kaya ko b tlga toh? lam ko ba ang pinapasok ko?? pero mas nangingibabaw ung excitement ko para akong bata..hehe cempre cla camil at aics din uber excited.haha tpos cla sir eric at angelits ayaw pa rw nila,papilit.hehehe pero c bheloy bigay agad ng pera.haha un nman pla kc marunong xa mg-ice skate!!! madaya xa lang ang d bumagsak smen..hehe..

bsta ang naaalala ko ang unang word na lumabas sa bibig ko nung pg-apak ko sa yelo ay isang malutong na 'POTAH!!' hehe kc nman para akong ngbalik sa pgging sanggol n d marunong mkatayo mg-isa kung d pa hahawak sa pader.hehe nkakatakot sa cmula pero un nkatayo namn ako mag-isa after 1 minute.haha ayon nkatayo lng ako ayoko n kumilos.haha buti nlng hwak ako ni camil kaya nkakalakad pa ako sa yelo ng pakonti konti..

nakatatlong bagsak din ako dun, ang saket sa puwet, sobra!!! pero kagaya nga ng sabi mu aics 'no pain, no gain' hehe.. nakakainggit ung mga batang magagaling na, buti pa cla parang normal lng ang buhay sa ibabaw ng yelo smantalang ako ay struggling.hehe pero nkakaskate nman n ko ng konti..mga isang ruler.hehe d bale sa susunod na paglapat ng ule ng skating shoes ko jn,nakow mapapanganga nlng cla.haha


after ng ice skating escapades nmen, feeling mayaman tlga kme ayan ngkaayaan pa manood ng movie, Die Hard 4.0. etoh ang movieng no dull moments.hehe grabe sa simula palng aksyon na! die hard tlga, parang pusang my siyam na buhay tong si bruce willis at buhay pa rin after ng bawat sagupaan..hehe newei panoorin nyo n rin lng sa mga di pa nkakanood.. promise yugyog ang pagkatao nyo sa bawat eksena. :)

..and after ng napakasayang bondingan, its time to go home na.. so cmpre kanya kanyang sakay na ng fx/van sa terminal dun sa moa. ako pamonumento, c camil pa-imus, c aics pa-parañaque (tama b aics?) and then cla sir eric at bheloy ngbus nman cla.. then nun nsa baywalk n ung van n sinasakyan ko may narcv akong txt from aicah na 'OMG! OMG..blah..blah na npapagitnaan xa ng dalwang dubious looking guys sa fx..blah..blah' bsta gnun ako nman wah syet i know the feeling ng gnyan, so ngreply ako sbi ko wah bumababa nlng xa, pero wla n ko narcv n reply nya..hala anu n kaya ang nangyari? and then maya maya ngring fon ko si sir eric pla at tinatanong ako kung ngtxt na ule smen si aicah kc tnatawagan nya fon ni aics pero cant be reached nman (uyy aics super alala sau si sir eric.hihi), wah syet d cempre mas lalo kmeng kinabahan nun. wla nman ko magawa dahil nsa ksagsagan n ko ng byahe ko at nyeta kakaubos lng ng load ko!! so i just pray nlng na sana safe si aics. pagdating ko ng bahay nikontak ko ung num ni aics, cant be reached pa din.. pero ngtxt c sir eric ngring dw ung fon ni aics tpos cant be reached n nman so iniicp nlng nmen n sana lng tlga lowbat xa at ntrafk lng dahil my el shaddai chuva prayer sa dadaanan nya... and finally by 12:22 am my narcv din akong txt galing kay aics na bahay na rw xa..hay thank God tlga na safe xa. nalowbat nga lng tlga xa and bumaba sa coastal at ng-abang nlng ng jip... hay buti tlga wla nangyari saung msama aics!! (relief... Ü)

oh db mala-suspense din tlga ang saturday churva nten,hehe newei nxt tym wg na tau papagabi, mgpaumaga nlng tau,haha.. hay hanggang ngaun msaket p rin mga buto buto ko, sobra nabugbog ata sa mga pgbagsak ko tlga sa yelo..gnun ba tlga laht ng sarap may saket?!! hehe

add ko lang toh, nlaman ko pala dahil sa status ni jaja sa ym na bading pala c scofield!! wah wla tlgang pinipili ang pagkakaroon ng berdeng dugo!! :) pero baket xa pa?!!!

kaw pala ang nakakuha ng last stock nitong pangarap nten shoes! ayos!! newei d nman nalalayo xa kay 5.0, magkapatid nman cla kaya ieenjoy ko na muna tong akin. malay nten mgkaroon ule ng stock ng sau at sale ule, bilhin n yn.hehe

nakita ko nman sa blog ni jaja ung transformers n nike free 7.0..haha astig nkashoes pa tlga cla optimus prime at megatron.. honga ja pangarap ko ang 7.0 kaya lng nagkaubusan na eh, kaya kay 5.0 na muna ko. :) mgkano nman kaya ang kachuvahan ng nike na transformers na yn??!! sana lng db nsusuot din yn, un nga lng gudlak n lng sa paa, siksikan cla ni optimus prime sa loob ng shoes.hehe.. oki cge look nyo n lng pix sa provided na links ni jaja...

knina after office, shumapping na kme ksama c mam cecile. ako, jen, gretch, sep at nelo ang mga ksama ni mam... ayun super saya cempre treat ni mam cecile un .

though nike free 7.0 tlga un hinahanp ko, eh all out n xa sa lhat ng store na pinuntahan nmen sa glorietta, syet!!! gnun b karami my gsto din nun at naubusan ako???!!!!!!! newei my nkita kme sa landmark kaya lng 4495.00 p din un price nya eh nun nkita ko un dati nasa 3500 na lng. so sbi ko sa knila tingin muna kme sa ibng nike store, but then it turned out na wla n nga nun..so ang last n store nalng ay ang toby's, wah wla n rin cla nun, tlgang ung isang version n lng ng 7.0 ang meron cla.. hay sad..

pero suddenly nkita ko sa display ung first ko n ngustuhan n shoes dati, ung lower version.. nike free 5.0!!! kaya masaya pa rin, un nlng ang binili nmen.. sinukat ko agad at nilakad lakad dun sa toby's.hehe at sale pa xa!!! from 4495.00 nging 3100 nlng, but then nung nsa cashier n kme nlaman nmen 2697.00 nlng xa.. wow ang saya!!! 40% ang na-less nmen... hehe grabe uber saya tlga.. overwhelming!!! :)

ok tapos n un akin.. para nman kay jen ang binili nya is ung converse na pink n sneakers.. ang ganda din nun cute ng color.. ung kay gretch nman blouse sa petit monde, pink din.hehe.. kay sep nman ay 512mb na RAM at ung kay nelo ay leather shoes sa wade.. ang saya naaccomplished nmen laht. and then nag-aya pa si mam cecile na kumain muna, cempre gusto ko pa din sumama dun kaya lng my dinner treat din smen si camil so humiwalay n kme ni sep at pumunta sa greenbelt 3... and the rest sama na kay mam cecil para kumain..

at eto na kme ay ngtungo n ni sep sa kitchen sa g3, nandun n cla lahat... cempre ngorder n cla so umorder n rin kme ni sep. ang sarap ng naorder ko, sheepish grin ang pangalan..hmmm yum yum!! ng lambchops!! thanks my devil bitch sa blowout, worth it ang aming pagpunta.haha..

..and cempre congrats sa mga na-promote kong frens!!! camil, she, aics, sep and vince!!! :) kainan n nman toh! :)

Cool!! astig!! grabe d ako maover s pinanood nmeng TRansformers last monday nyt. hanggang knina sa ofis cempre un ang topic nmen..hehe lalo na ung kakuletan ni bumble bee, hehe i love bumble bee... oh baby come back.. ayos papatugtog pa tlga ng ganun. :) bsta mganda, panoorin nyo rin!!! dun sa mga d pa nkakanood sulit tlga ang 2 1/2 hrs nyo dito!!! bibili tlga ko ng dvd nito pg meron na para mapanood ko ng paulit-ulet.hehe cempre ung pirata lng.haha..adik!!! newei, sila camil, aics. manuel at duls ang ksama ko manood sa G4.
