Best of Luck Ma’am Cecile

Ma’am Cecile who was our ex-Department head (she was cross posted to BCD last year) had to say goodbye to MTI as she reached her retirement age last June 13. Happy Birthday Ma’am Cecile! ^_^.

We prepared a Despedida/Birthday party for her at Café Alfonso. It was a success, everybody had fun especially Ma’am Cecile. Ma’am Cecile’s friends from all departments came to celebrate. We had dinner and the bosses sang their hearts out in the videoke that was set-up there. And I, as a photographer had to mingle with everyone. Bwahaha feel na feel pero di din ganun karami kuha ko kasi naman kelangan ko rin muna kumain!.haha

Ma’am Cecile was very happy with our gifts especially the scrapbook thingy. Our Department plus the BAS team gave her a Timex watch, which she already wears after she unwrap the box.hehe Di raw talaga nya kame malilimutan.hehe. And wait there’s more!! Mag-aouting pa raw ule kame! Yey! May be after she had fixed all she needed to fix after she moves out at MTI. She scanned the scrapbook and smile on every page she opened (halos lahat kasi ng department may kanya kanyang page dun, and even ung mga umalis na din ng MTI meron din mga messages for her).

Some of us left the party before 10PM. Since MRT will be closed by 10:15 (Ayala Station) I really need to go. (ayoko mag-bus! ^_^). Before going to MRT, Jen and I had a stop at the bookstore at SM just to buy the chain ID lace we’ve been searching for. Dun lang pala meron. We had also seen a nice planner there and I remember Aicah as she was longing to have one of it.bwahaha Naubusan na kasi xa nung gusto nyang planner dati. Tara balikan nalang nten sa Monday baka un na ang kasagutan sa paghahanap mo ng planner.hehe

And again to our dearest Ma’am Cecile thanks for everything! You had played a great role in our lives. Thanks for all the encouragements, advises and treats! ^_^ All of these help me realize my potentials and existence in MTI. We’ll surely miss you. May you enjoy your journey outside MTI! Happy Birthday and God Bless! ^_^

Sir Ross from RM/CL team will also leaving as soon.. wah nag-aalisan na silang lahat.. Paalam na Sir Ross, bakasyon ka ulet sa MTI.hehe Wala na ang Anjo Yllana ng MTI :(

Prepare for Awesomeness

Finally I’ve got to watched Kung Fu Panda. Camille, Aicah and I watched it a while ago though Aicah already seen the movie she had no choice but to join us. Bwahaha. The movie was really funny making us to relax and forget the stress of long day work. ^_^. At tawa kame ng tawa, pati nga ung ibang nanonood grabe makatawa parang wala ng bukas.hehe

Kung Fu Panda is the story of Po, (voice Jack Black), a sweet, but clumsy Panda who has dreams of fighting with the legendary Furious Five and protecting the city against all threats. The only problem is that Po has no real life experience of kung fu, and his real job is serving noodles at his dad's noodles shop. News of selecting the Dragon Warrior is sent out from the Jade Temple, and the whole city along with Po, go to the celebration. The competition is between the Furious Five: Tigress (voice Angelina Jolie), Viper (voice Lucy Liu), Crane (voice David Cross), Monkey (voice Jackie Chan), and Mantis (voice Seth Rogen). Po accidentally enters the contest and is named the Dragon Warrior. Master Shifu (voice Dustin Hoffman) must find a way to train Po and make him a Kung Fu Master, especially, after they learn that the snow leopard, Tai Lung (voice Ian McShane), is headed their way. (Ayan ang synopsis nakuha ko lang sa net.hehe)

Anyway the movie was great, from humor, colorful animation and martial acts actions. I can watch it a million times and reacting same as I’ve watched it a while ago.hehe After the movie we waited for Sam Concepcion’s name being plastered in the screen as the one who sung the theme song of the movie. And we ended up that we were the only people inside the cinema and two other guys (are they fierce?!! I mean gays?!!hehe) since the credits for Sam was posted at the very last clip. As if dinugtong lang talaga kasi nman black na yung background.hehe

P.S. Aicah will be returning to office as she was the batch support for ST. Goodluck sau jan Aics. Happy mumu-free! ^_^

Happy Father's Day

Thank God our Metrophone Batch was ok. Dapat lang dahil isang job lang nman ang inedit nmen dun. ^_^.

Anyway today is Father’s day! Happy Father’s Day to our Dade! ^_^. I am planning to buy him a cake later before I go home.

Hay kamusta naman dito ako sa cube ko, tapos ko na rin masend sa email ung mga converted accounts ng Metrophone. Pero di pa ko inaantok at lahat sila ay tulog na kaya gawa nalang ako ng MTS sa isa kong SR. Tapos knina nakakatawa papatayin ko sana ung ilaw dito sa area namen kasi ang liwanag e ntutulog na sila. Malapit na ko dun sa switch ng biglang may kumaluskos dun sa board room..wah bigla ko napaktabo...bwahaha kadire konti nlang abot ko na ung switch tumakbo pa ko at d ko na-off.haha ayun bumalik nalang ako sa area ko at hinayaang bukas ang ilaw.hehe

Camille's Bday "slash" Branch Consolidation

It's Camille's birthday and today is Saturday but unfortunately we need to work due to Branch Consolidation implementation. The Deposits team should be at the office early this morning but I as a TS support and our Metrophone batch will be ran later (12midnight), I came here just this afternoon. ST encountered problem during there morning run which cause delay for the generation of reports to be verified by BA’s / Auditors. Wawa naman mga friends ko, wala pa tulog tapos harass pa dahil sa pesteng aberya na yan! Anyway they made it through the rain.hehe

Aicah and I gave the birthday girl Camille a card which she was expecting. bwahaha. Kahit na binigay na namen sa knya ung mga gifts nya yesterday umiexpect pa din.hehe And may keyk pa nga pala xa ulet with matching magic candle na di namamatay. ^_^. Sayang d ko dala ang DSLR namen para macapture ang moments, pero may dala nman cam cla Aics at Bhels ^_^.

After the sign off was released we had our dinner at aVeneto Pizzeria, a birthday treat of Camille and Jen, mga June babies. ^_^. We had a sumptuous dinner; a pizza, Buffalo wings, pasta and chicken strips…hmmm yummy!!! Back to office we brought some foods for Gretch since she wasn’t able to join us due to production issue of there ATM accounts consolidation. Kamusta naman puro aberya talaga! I’m praying that our Metrophone batch will be ok later (fingers crossed).

Friday the 13th

My officemates and I decided to watch a movie after office. Since it was Friday the 13th we chose to watch The Happening to give this day some thrill. From a group of 6 we became 10 and finally 14. Whew! dami db? company outing ba ito?! hehe

The Happening can be described as a paranoid thriller about a community on a run from a natural crisis. There maybe some creepy moments, but overall for me the movie was not that phenomenal. Nonetheless it was better compared to The Mist, which gives a very depressing ending.

P.S. Camille, Aicah, Eric and I arrived late at the movie house, maybe 10 minutes after the movie started. It was indeed a Friday 13th as my ST friends (Savings/Time Deposit Team) needed to resolve some Branch Consolidation issues, which was for implementation tomorrow.

Goodbye allowance...

Just got home a while ago. Syet!!! un na lang talaga ang nareact ko kanina nung nasa Savory kame kasama ko sila Mama, Dade, oma at eloi. Kagagaling lang namen kina Sam(pamangkin ko), i mean sa bahay nila te Ludee at Kuya ko tapos ayon before going home sabi ko dinner muna kame. Lakas ng loob mag-aya db? Kasi dala ko CC ko kaya ok lang naman. And then napili na nga namen sa Savory, SM San Lazaro kumain. So ayon order order, then kain, chika, picture etc... Tapos pinakuha ko na ung bill sa waiter, while waiting sa bill namen, narinig ko sa kabilang table na sabi nung isang waiter, "ay Ma'am cash pa lang kame"... hearing that napalingon ako at nakita ko nga card kasi ung ibabayad sana nung nasa kabilang table. At syet tlaga na lang! waaaah!!! ichacharge ko rin sa CC ko sana ung amin. Kaya ayan nasaid ang cash ko which is allowance ko un for 1 week...ahuhuhu.. anyway buti na lang talaga at may dala akong cash kung hindi si Mama pa talaga ang magbabayad nun.hehe Minsan lang naman ako magtreat sa labas kaya sige na nga ayos lang yun.haha at pa-advance na Father's day treat na rin para kay Dade namen.

So pano yan sa mga ofismeyts ko kitakits na lang sa sweldo, leave muna ko.bwahaha ^_^

"Hindi dahil nagpapakatotoo ka, tama ka!"

Ayos! I love that line!!! hehehe I've just heard it from one of the housemates of PBB teen edition saying to another housemate, sa isa sa mga komosyon na naganap nun. I don’t know what they are arguing about kasi nde ko naman nasubaybayan un but that line got stuck in my head. Siguro dahil sa araw araw na ginawa ng Diyos applicable ung line na yan.

Totoo nga naman may point sya dun. Hindi ibig sabihin na nagiging totoo ka sa sarili mo lahat ng actions na ginagawa mo tama na. Ok fine ginagawa mo nga ung sa tingin mo ay tama pero 'ito nga ba ay tama rin sa iba?'. Ok nga naman na maging totoo ka sa sarili mo pero dapat ready ka rin accept yung mga criticism na marereceive mo from other people. Kasi hindi nman tau perfect di ba? At hindi naman iisa ang iniisip at gusto ng tao. Minsan sa pagpapakatotoo naten may naaagrabyado na tau, minsan sadya minsan hindi.

Being true doesn’t allow us to hurt other people, but if we did take time to think and take responsibilty in whatever actions we made. Lahat may kanya kanyang opinion, kelangan lang matuto tayong tumanggap at magbigay. Pero as a whole ayos yan, be yourself, show your true self. In that way mas magiging magaan ang pagtakbo ng buhay mo.

a dream come true!!!

My sister and I just bought our long time dream.. woohoo!!! SLR camera!!! We chose a Nikon D60. Actually it was hers tlga kasi sya nagbayad/magbabayad nun.hehe Ako makikigamit lang ^_^.

Based on reviews and from my sister's colleagues Nikon SLRs are the best when comes to color contrast, quality.. whatever!!! hehe ayoko na muna intindihin basta ang saya talaga... pag-aaralan ko na lang para ma-prove mga pinagsasabi nila. ^_^

World Pyro (4th night - finale)

Again.. again and again.. We watched the finale of World Pyro last night. Thank God that rain gave its way to the show. Ganda ng weather! ^_^ And the show was great!! Speechless applause! clap clap clap!! ^_^

After the pyro we had dinner at Burgoo, just to escape the vast number of people queued to other resto. (syet mahal!!!! d naman ganun ksarap ang fud. d best pa rin ang Pizzeria nmen sa GLo..hehe inangkin ^_^)
